Emma Li shines in her first European Championships
Kosta, Sweden – September 30, 2025
Emma Li made a remarkable debut at the European Under-13 Table Tennis Championships in Kosta, Sweden. Representing Germany, she impressed both in the team and individual events, showing her potential against some of the continent’s best young players.
Team Event
In the Mixed Team competition, Emma contributed to Germany’s strong performance, which ultimately secured 10th place overall.
Emma closed the team event with a balanced 2:2 record, proving her reliability under pressure.
Singles Competition
In the Round of 64, she overcame Aina Casanovas (Spain) 3–1 (11–4, 6–11, 11–6, 11–6).
In the Round of 32, she faced a tough opponent, Ela Yönter (Turkey), and was defeated 1–3 (–6, –6, 11, –5).
Despite the loss, her performance in her first European Championships was outstanding and we are looking forward to her future career pathway.
